Received news that 68 requests for review copies just came in and we are starting to get written reviews. This project has become near and dear so good to get some fresh opinions on the edits we have made and to get a sense of the direction the wind of change is blowing in.

Finalized the design for Dasher the reindeer soft toy today and send it back to Merry Makers in California. Now it goes into production and will be ready for the big Christmas shows we are doing in Portland and in Mississauga in the fall.
Seasons is a huge Christmas themed show in Ontario and we are particating as a sponsor and bringing Santa with us.

It is just days away until the books are packed up in boxes and the distribution starts that we have been working on for almost a year now. It is not always the case that a publisher releases translations in the same year as launching the book but I felt there was a market for spanish and french books so I thought it would meet the market - so why wait.

On May 31st. 2012 Santa Claus - without doubt the most influential "character" for young impressionable young readers quits smoking his pipe.

On September 4th. 2012 the most famous poem in the English language is published less the depiction and reference to Santa engaging in smoking his pipe in the middle of the Moore family's living room.
