I noticed in the news today that Kentucky is gearing up to further smoke- free legislation in 2013. It has been my
direction for some time to put energies into getting kids to not start. Einstein said it is easier to get started in anything than it is to get oneself out of anything.... I don't know the exact quote but you get the idea. Addiction can be a tricky concept to explain to an adult let alone a child but this is the conversation we need to develop in our social cure to tobacco use.

Santa Claus Quits Smoking on May 31st. 2012

On May 31st. 2012 Santa Claus - without doubt the most influential "character" for young impressionable young readers quits smoking his pipe.

On September 4th. 2012 the most famous poem in the English language is published less the depiction and reference to Santa engaging in smoking his pipe in the middle of the Moore family's living room. May 31st. World No Tobacco Day

We were going to launch the book on May 31st. 2012 in conjunction with the World Health Organizations No Tobacco Day but we have now changed the date of release to September 4th. so that it will be included in holiday books for children.
